All Waversa products are built with high-quality aluminum chassis skillfully produced by an expensive CNC process. The chassis features individual segments for each module, providing protection from external noise and harmful vibration, thereby maximizing audio performance.

Storage

WCORE fully supports Roon Core server storage. It features a 2.5-inch SSD/HDD and M.SATA slot, providing sufficient inbuilt storage for large libraries. With its lightning-quick search ability, WCORE offers efficient and convenient access to your music collection.

Network Port

The network interface is critical for optimal Roon performance. WCORE is equipped with a high-quality OCXO clock and battery power-based 4-port Ethernet hub, ensuring the transmission of the purest streamed signal and seamless WNDR transmission to other Waversa devices.

Transformer Based Linear Power Supply

Featuring Waversa’s proprietary WLPS (Waversa Linear Power Supply) technology, a large transformer-based linear power supply generates clean power. To further boost performance, this is coupled with a lithium-ion battery power supply to provide power to all critical audio circuits.

Waversa’s Battery Management System (BMS) is also featured, where a single bank of batteries is charged while the other is being used, maximizing battery lifespan and ensuring uninterrupted power supply.

Optimized Roon Environment

Waversa’s custom Linux OS enables the implementation of efficient and compact software, specifically designed for optimal performance within the Roon environment. Automatic notifications make it simple to activate software updates, which can be easily accessed through the Waversa WRemote App.

Since Waversa products are software-driven, new features can be added in the future to enhance usability and performance, ensuring continued innovation and flexibility.

Power Supply

Key to the performance of the WCORE is the 48V high-voltage power system that feeds the Waversa BMS (Battery Management System), which comprises twin lithium-ion batteries.

Both the network ports and key audio circuitry are provided with the cleanest possible power to maximize digital signal performance, ensuring optimal operation and audio quality.
