Building on the U‑12’s legacy, the U2 SE refines the Tri‑Planar formula into a compact 9.8″ (250 mm) package that loses none of the ultra-low friction, musical transparency, and mechanical refinement the line is known for. Featuring avionic-grade gimbal bearings placed precisely at record height, the U2 SE delivers pinpoint channel balance and groove tracking.

Its rigid coaxially-damped carbon-fibre wand clamps into a machined yoke, forming a unified structure that supports azimuth adjustment without sacrificing resonance control. A damped headshell, silicone-fluid trough with adjustable dipstick, and progressive anti-skate mechanism further tame unwanted vibrations.

Pure silver internal wiring ensures maximum signal purity from cartridge to output, while the sophisticated decoupled counterweight system accommodates low- to high-compliance cartridges without altering effective mass. With straightforward VTA, azimuth, tracking force, overhang, and anti-skate adjustments, installation is clean, stable, and repeatable.
