Vitus Audio’s engineers took advantage of the cutting edge technology used in the SCD-025 Mk.II to create this DAC / Streamer.
Thanks to the praised efforts of their continuous research, they were able to fit all that superior technology into a smaller chassis. This latest addition to the Vitus Audio Reference Series of products features a true modular design and any future upgrades are easily retrofittable.
The RD-101 is an exceptional performing DAC being incredibly musical. It will be the heart of any digital-based system. Without a linestage, it makes it a perfect partner for both the RI-101 Mk.II and SIA-025 Mk.II Vitus Audio integrated amplifiers for a fuss-free, 2 box system.
RD-101 is a fully-fledged network streamer that can handle Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify and Deezer. It can also playback content stored on a local NAS or a shared folder on a computer, all controlled simply by the easy to use MConnect App on your phone or tablet.
Digital inputs consist of 2 x RCA S/PDIF, 2 x AES, USB and an Ethernet port.
A USB slot exists for a wifi dongle and the trademark and substantial Vitus Audio chassis ground completes the back panel.
