What separates the Masterpiece MP-M201 Mono Power Amplifier from others is the use of a fully balanced, zero-feedback discrete topology. This design makes use of one input stage to feed two output stages, a fully regulated power supply and exceedingly high-quality components.
Almost every component used in the MP-M201 Mono Power Amplifier is designed and/or built in house. The amplifiers are capable of delivering 100 Watt of pure, continuous Class A power dedicated to the higher frequencies and an impressive 500 Watt of Class AB power for the lower frequencies.
To generate that kind of power, nothing less than two 2.2kVA transformers can be found in each power supply chassis. The casework is milled from solid slabs of aluminium and fitted to a vibration cancelling chassis of steel that fits together with the precision of a quality timepiece.
All assembly is done by hand. Every unit is thoroughly tested to ensure that everything works perfectly. Two stages of listening tests are performed before it receives a ‘pass’ and is sent on to its lucky owner.
