MP-L201 Mk.II

The ultimate Vitus Audio Pre-amplifier.
All of the true balanced discrete gainstages in the MP-L201 Mk.II are based on shielded modules, which incorporates a very high level of integration. Each module is moulded with special damping material, which takes care of both mechanical resonances and stability in temperature, thus giving optimal working conditions for the circuitry.
Around the back are three balanced and two single-ended inputs. The MP-L201s power supply is simply massive for a preamp. Extensively regulated by 24 voltage regulators, power delivery is exceedingly stable and free from noise.
Like all Masterpiece components, the MP-L201 is a fully balanced dual-mono design from input to output; any unbalanced signals fed to it are quickly converted to balanced in the very first circuit stage. The volume control is Vitus Audio’s proprietary relay system, which only uses one resistor in series with the signal path, regardless of volume.
The introduction of the new MK2 version has taken what was thought possible even further.
The power supply has undergone a massive redesign, not only increasing the total number of regulation steps but also increasing the performance of each regulator step.
The result of this gives a wider, deeper soundstage. This truly is a “Masterpiece”
