The Aidas Mammoth Gold LE represents the absolute pinnacle of cartridge design—a limited edition of just ten pieces, each one a collector’s item and a statement of analogue perfection. This is the Mammoth Gold elevated further still, with enhancements to body material, magnet system, and stylus that push performance to the threshold of what is possible.

Ten pieces of ultra-pure, white mammoth tusk have been hand-selected for this exclusive run—material of exceptional clarity chosen from the 21,000-year-old Siberian ivory that has made the Mammoth series legendary. The magnetic system has been upgraded with a larger AlNiCo5 magnet, delivering a more stable and denser magnetic field in the gap for greater authority and control. Perhaps most significant is the choice of stylus: the Ogura Line Contact, a design patented in Japan in 1978 by Junshiro Ogura. Shaped to maximise vertical contact with the groove wall while minimising front-to-back friction, the Line Contact stylus retrieves detail with remarkable precision and can make even slightly worn records sound almost pristine. With pure 999-fine gold coils and the Namiki adamant boron composite cantilever completing the design, the Mammoth Gold LE offers a sense of almost silent running—a window onto the music unclouded by the mechanism that reveals it.
