KV9 Max Tonearm

The J.Sikora KV9 Max takes the core ideas of the original Kevlar arm and reimagines them at a higher level. This 9-inch unipivot design features a newly developed Kevlar armtube that is lighter and stiffer than before, with revised internal damping to further reduce resonances and preserve low-level detail.

A zirconium-oxide bearing assembly, redesigned VTA mechanism and refined azimuth and counterweight adjustments bring a new level of precision and ease of setup. Aluminium components have been replaced with carefully selected bronze alloys, chosen for both mechanical stability and their contribution to the arm’s acoustic behaviour.

The KV9 Max offers exceptionally quick, well-defined bass and a very open, resolved midband, making it ideal for systems where speed, control and focus are priorities. With a reduced mounting height and more universal geometry, it can be successfully used on a wide variety of high-end turntables, as well as J.Sikora’s own models.
