KV12 Tonearm

The J.Sikora KV12 is the tonearm that established the brand’s reputation in analogue. This 12-inch unipivot design combines a conical Kevlar armtube with a carefully balanced mix of metals – including aluminium, bronze and cast iron – to achieve high stiffness, low mass and excellent internal damping.

The extended effective length reduces tracking error and tracing distortion, allowing cartridges to follow the groove with greater ease and stability. Oil damping and the mass distribution of the arm have been tuned to give a relaxed, highly controlled presentation that still retains energy and drive.

Practical use remains a priority: VTA can be adjusted smoothly while playing, azimuth and anti-skate are easy to set, and the design is inherently stable over time, with no tendency for bearings or structures to drift.
