KV12 Max Tonearm

The J.Sikora KV12 Max is the flagship expression of the company’s Kevlar-arm concept. Building on the success of the original KV12, this 12-inch unipivot tonearm introduces a lighter, stiffer Kevlar armtube with revised filling, a new zirconium-oxide bearing, upgraded internal wiring and a more substantial bronze-based structure in place of aluminium.

These changes bring tangible gains in resolution, stability and refinement. The longer effective length keeps tracking error extremely low, while the improved damping and bearing architecture allow the cartridge to retrieve fine detail and spatial information with ease, without sounding etched or clinical.

VTA, azimuth, anti-skate and counterweight adjustments have all been refined for greater accuracy and smoother operation, making it easier to extract the maximum performance from top-tier cartridges. The KV12 Max is a true reference tonearm – equally at home on J.Sikora’s own turntables or on other decks built to the same high standard.
