Giotto is a completely new moving coil cartridge designed for rich, detailed sound and perfect tonal balance. It forms part of a new range of cartridges released in 2024 by Gold Note. These new cartridges have been developed from scratch to provide best-in-class performance within this market segment.
With an ultra-micro elliptical diamond (5×150 μm) and an ultra-rigid cantilever in boron, the Giotto guarantees extended frequency response with outstanding dynamics, fine details, precise imaging and elegant sound.
Design and Production
Gold Note proudly design and manufacture everything in house and have done for the last 25 years. They do however purchase the cantilevers, tips/diamonds and crossbars in Japan at the two most esteemed companies of the only existing five manufacturers left in the world in the world, Namicki/Adamant and Ogura, who make special cuts for Gold Note and supply the best custom designed items in order to reach their unique quality and distinctive Gold Note sound signature.
