The Ferrero L9 is the first product in Acustica Applicata’s new Ferrero Electronics Line. It is a high-quality tube preamplifier, designed with innovative solutions and uncompromising choices to offer an extraordinary listening experience.
Acustica Applicata does not limit itself to the distribution of this tube preamplifier but has contributed to “shaping” the sonic result with intensive listening tests during its development, in close collaboration with the designer and builder, Alberto Ferrero. Alberto is a passionate audiophile and engineer with deep experience in sophisticated military electronics.
This collaboration has resulted in a valuable mix between the certainties of “tradition” since the signal is amplified exclusively by tube circuits, and technological innovation brought by cutting-edge components completely new to the audio industry, derived from the military sector.
With a high input impedance, high gain, low noise, extremely low output impedance and total absence of DC at the output, the Ferrero L9 interfaces perfectly with any kind of power amplifier, both tube and solid state.
