I am and will forever be in love with this song. That’s it that’s all I have to say. No, but in all seriousness, this song has a special place in my heart. Kaiit has explained that this piece is very much a song written for her by her, it’s a reminder that when things get tough, it will all be alright. All you have to do is listen to the beautifully raw lyrics to understand that. This is a healing song, not only for the artist themselves but the listener too.
Everyone at one point in their life has related to the words in this piece, and similarly everyone at some point has needed to hear them. Not only are the lyrics/vocals immaculate but so are the instrumentals. As soon as it starts it simply radiates warmth, it’s a truly soulful sound that compliments the lyrics beautifully. Kaiit has created a safe space within a song. It’s a reminder that you’re good enough and you’re exactly where you need to be.
